At times, children need to be home when they are sick, but in some cases that’s easier said than done. When parents work, or just can’t be there to care for a sick child, Under the Weather is an affordable and assessable solution.
That’s why we’re here. From a stomach ache to the chicken pox, Under the Weather can provide responsible, trustworthy experienced professionals to care and nurture your sick child in the comforts of your own home. Our trained professionals provide daytime home care for your child for as long as you need it – one day, one week, or longer.
You’ll be comforted knowing we have:
- Care professionals with current First Aid and CPR Certifications
- All background and reference checks are preformed
- Services for children ages 6 weeks – 12 years of age
- Nurses on staff for caregiver support
- After hours support services available
Services may be needed at last minute, so our staffing coordinator is available evenings and early mornings to assist with your sick child needs. Services can also be requested online
Parents are required to complete a one-time service agreement.

In cases where you may not want someone providing care in your home, the Center is an excellent option. The Center is available for children of ages 16 months to 12 years. For more information on our Center. The Center is highly regulated, children are separated by illness, a one to four ratio of Caregiver to Child ratio.
In-Home services are at a hourly rate. There is a four hour minimum charge. A cancellation fee of $60 will be charged for services that are set-up then canceled. Please call 763-425-5959 or after hours 612-968-4241 for details.
